The Bridal Connection

The Bridal Connection is a well known name to Des Moines. Founded in 1982 by Joy McGovern, it operated on University and 14th for 25 years. Lara and Dan Bunkers bought the store and moved it to 710 N Ankeny Blvd., Ankeny, Iowa in 2008. The shop feels like an upscale boutique without the upscale prices. Appointments ensure that each bride has personalized attention. While the square footage may be small, the staff is big on service. The Bridal Connection carries it all: gowns, jewelry, under-garments, tuxes, bridesmaids dresses as well as formal gowns for any occasion and prom dresses.
