I began planning events in my hometown Birmingham, Alabama, where I worked with hundreds of authors and publishers from around the country. I worked an average of 250 events per year during my 5+ years there. I then moved to New York where I worked for the American Booksellers Association. I created educational workshops, coordinated speakers and panelists from around the country, worked with hotels on accommodations, food and beverage orders, assisted in a/v, and other logistics. I planned events large and small around the country. I have now worked on events for over 8 years, but nothing comes close to the excitement and joy I feel when being a part of a wedding.
