Is goofy a cow or a dog? Disney has generated dozens of well-known characters since its founding in 1923, including princesses such as Cinderella and Jasmine as well as Mickey Mouse and Lightning McQueen. While it is clear what each of the other characters represents, Goofy is a bit of a puzzle. Due to his strong relationship with Clarabelle Cow on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, some viewers erroneously believe he is a cow. Many consider him to be a dog, which places him in the same family as Pluto. Accordingly, who or what is Goofy? Bill Farmer has given the voice of Goofy since 1987. Recently, Farmer stated to Yahoo that Goofy is "not a dog." According to Farmer, "Pluto" is a dog.
