Of the Fenno-Ugric language. Cwen people are also called "Kveens" or "Kveeni people". They are Finns who have traditionally inhabited the very most northern territories of Northern Scandinavia. First written descriptions of them can be found from the Viking sagas and historical writings of "Ottar from HÃ¥logaland" and the English King "Alfred the Great" from over 1200 years ago, also from the writings of the Roman historian called "Idris".
