I have been playing with the idea that this seat was not the best idea. Let me explain........ I purchased the Evenflo Triumph back when my son had grown out of his infant seat (in late 2004). My son was a very big baby and around 6 months or so he... more

Pros

Comfy cushioning for baby. Highly rated for safety. Not as expensive as some.

Cons

Heavy. Straps aren't easy to use. Cover is a job to clean

Bottomline

I can't recommend this seat. I would say go with a Britax (although I've never owned one) or go with a cheaper model. This seat is just a hassle.

I was some what limited in my car seat choices due to the fact that I drive a small car and not many seats would fit rear facing. This one seemed like it was going to fit the bill; it got a great crash test rating, looked like "Dad's Favorite Comfy... more
