Augusta, ME 04330

(207) 622-6235

In the heart of Maine's capital, you'll find one of the state's most beautiful homes. John Calvin Stevens, who was Maine's foremost architect at the turn of the 20th century, designed this Colonial Revival home for Maine's 45th governor, John Freemont Hill (1855-1912) in 1902. This stately building was used as the governor's home until his daughter and grandchildren gave it to Oblate Fathers for a retreat home in 1949. Since then, the Governor Hill Mansion has been used as a site for retreats, conferences, and gatherings of all kinds. Let us help you make your wedding memorable. Enjoy your special day in this unique, historic, and elegant setting.
